Afghanistan, the Other ‘Surge’

Eben Kaplan, the author of this blog, seems to be well balanced and thorough with his perspective on international politics. A link is available to an about the author page which lists his credentials; he has a BA in Political Science from Bard College. He contrasts the situation in Iraq and Afghanistan with statements that appeal to logic rather than emotion, providing support for his assertions in the form of links to other on-line news sources. The advertisements on his blog are for political science books. There were however no posts on the blog.
